Early to mid 90’s MTB bikes were made from old school steel, titanium and aluminum and often the frames were still welded by master craftsman in the USA! To many enthusiasts these bikes were the pinnacle of practical off-road bike design.
Back in the 90’s mid-grade and higher level components were still made in Japan, Europe and the US and had a high level of quality and longevity. Small garage style component startups like Cook Bros, Kooka, Paul’s, Ringle, White Industires and even Chris King were the envy of all riders.
Hardtails were the dominant technology, while early full-suspension designs were still evolving and often suffered from “pedal bob” which wasted energy. Today 90’s mountain bikes are often reborn as drop handlebar gravel bikes, backpacking rigs and more. These 90’s frames and parts have been repurposed into unique bikes with stories to tell.

We typically purchase entire lots of parts only. Full bikes are too heavy to ship and single parts dont have enough resale margin alone.
