Q: Do you have a retail location that I can shop at?
A: At this time we don’t have room at our warehouse for a retail setup. We are keeping this in mind for the future.
Q: What type of bikes do you buy?
A: We’re currently looking for model year 2005-2020 bikes in the following road, mountain and gravel bicycle brands.
Q: Why don’t you buy the big brands like Trek, Giant and Specialized?
A: These brands make fantastic bikes, are spec’d out really well and in many ways provide the best value in thier segments but can be oversaturated in the used market. They also produce many of their own parts and accessories which perform well but don’t hold a high used resale value.
Q: Do you buy or sell e-bikes?
A: We dont deal in e-bikes at this time.
Q: Where do you resell your bikes & parts?
A: We have an ebay store and run several classified listing across different online platforms incuding PinkBike. We also sell to a used bike shop with a few store locations on the west coast.
Q: Do you resell the full bikes or break them down into parts?
A: Only approximately 20% of the bikes we buy are resold as complete bikes as we specialize in buying 5-20 year old bikes and the sum of the parts are typically worth more than the complete bikes.
Q: Where do my donated items go to?
A: 80% of donations are up-cycled in the community. This includes drop offs at Front Range bicycle advocacy groups such as Community Cycles in Boulder and the Bike Co-Op in Fort Collins. We also supply used parts to local artist Ashley Kim who makes custom bike wheel clocks for sale to the community.
The other 20% are donated to out of state non-profit organizations such as YellowBike in Austin, TX or recycled at the Eco-Cycle CHaRM facility off Arapahoe Rd in Boulder.
Q: Are you hiring?
